Why We Use FtM and MtF

Although some call them dated, these terms are still useful, and therefore used on our site, for a few reasons.  Firstly, many people still use and identify with FtM or MtF, and use it when looking for specific products we carry.  It is therefore useful to use as a business as people search for products that we would like to sell using those terms; not using them would make it harder for more people to find us.

We also find that they are descriptive, concise, and specific.  FtM and MtF are good for clarifying certain types of products, and while in an perfect world that would not be necessary, we live in a distinctly imperfect society.

We use these terms because many people in our prospective customer base use them too.  If you don't, that's ok!  We do not intend to force it upon you, nor do you adopt the label against your will if you purchase a product described by it.  If you have any feedback, please reach out to us at info@transessentials.com
